Oh man oh boy oh mama oh my goodness. Welcome!
I am so excited to share with you, dear ones, my new online home. This website has been in the works since our family dwelled in the tiny apartment that is now my studio from where I sit and write right this minute. The lightness I feel in having this beast live encouraged me to do cartwheels in the fresh snow this morning.
A little shout out to my husband, who doesn’t even raise his eyebrows when I ask him to follow me to the field to document my inverted enthusiasm. Love him. And to my kids who find this to be as normal as pancakes for breakfast.
I did the site design but the whole thing was built by the smart, thorough, fun, fabulous Amy Corbin of Piece a Cake Media. You should hire her. And the illustration anchored at the top of my site is Courtney Blazon‘s genius. She does family portraits and other commissions and is wonderful to work with. You should hire her too.
So, that’s it for now. Up next: a big ol’ internet hug of a post involving the meeting of one of my favorite writers who is now one of my favorite real life people. Melina hopped on a bus and came to Missoula to spend the night with my family. It was so good. Oh and the hunting! I will write about hunting. And holidays and Ruby’s birthday and running, snow, corn chowder, chicken coops…first, today. A few more cartwheels.
